“Your product is fabulous! Last year I was flying solo with my toddler and our bulky car seat and a woman flying solo with her son (the same age) was using CARES. She gave me the website, and when I got home I ordered it immediately! I used it for the first time over the holidays and what a gem of a product. Obviously so lightweight... so easy to set up! “I just took my son on his first flight to Florida. I was horrified at the thought of lugging a car seat through LaGuardia, Memphis, and Tallahassee, but I didn’t think 2 years old was old enough to be just in a seat belt on the plane. I happened to read about kidsflysafe in Good Housekeeping, so I splurged and bought it. Unfortunately as we left LaGuardia, the restraint was accidentally left with his stroller, and can I tell you, that kid undid his seatbelt in 2 seconds flat! I remembered it on our connection, and it was like a bell went off in his head — he must have thought it was like his car seat, as he did not touch it, or the seat belt, at all. And he sat stock still the rest of the flight down, and on the two flights home.
Northwest Airlines should be a bit more educated about CARES, as none of the four flight attendants had any idea what it was. But it was completely worth the money!”
“I wanted to let you know that I heard about CARES through one of the airline magazines. I was desperate to buy one after I hauled my son's Britax car seat by myself onto the airplane and then managed to get it stuck! The flight attendants had to call the maintenance crew to get the car seat out of the seatbelt at 9:45 p.m. while I held my sleeping little guy! It was a disaster that I will never repeat. “I stumbled upon the kidsflysafe.com site looking for miracle solutions. Glad I did. My rowdy 2 year old flew out of the country using CARES. We made him follow “buckle up” rules when applicable, and loosened the belt in mid flight but never let him take it off (so we would have more control). Our son loved not sitting in a car seat! He fell asleep on the pillow I brought. He felt so free watching his DVD and I felt he was safe — and that was the main reason our trip was so great! Bless you! I will recommend this to everyone!
