As a former flight attendant for a major carrier, I can tell you that because of the annual recurrent training system, not all flight attendants will be informed about the new FAA changes right away. Gate agents are not necessarily trained or responsible for the types of on-board devices allowed by the FAA. If someone does have a problem, not only carry the card included with the harness, but ask the flight attendant or gate agent to ask a member of the crew ‘who has recently been to recurrent training?’ ….Thanks again and congratulations for following your idea and making it happen….you’ve helped a lot of people!”

“I just wanted to send in my own Thank You for creating such a great product!!! The last time I flew with my daughter in her car seat I knew that she was getting too big as her feet constantly kicked the seat in front of us. As we were taxiing for take off, the pilot came to a sudden stop (SUDDEN). If my daughter wasn’t in a harnessed seat she would have gone right over the lap belt. Knowing she wouldn’t be using the car seat anymore, I came right home and ordered the CARES belt because I want her wearing shoulder straps for as long as she can. I have since used the CARES belt twice and I am about to use it again this weekend. I LOVE it. I tell everyone about it and I RAVE about it!!! Even if the same situation were to occur, with sudden stopping, the CARES would keep her in her seat.
I am very sorry that my daughter is about to outgrow the belt as I believe she is still small enough for the lap belt alone to not be sufficient. (But I will be holding on to the CARES belt and letting anyone I know borrow it when needed.) Thank you for such a great invention!!!!”
